AN INTRODUCTION

to a new data research service

Sue Lupton founded Prime Prospects in 1993, after working in direct marketing in America and as the Sales Director of Claritas, one of Britain's leading data supply companies.
Prime Prospects merged with Sample Answers Ltd. in 2008 and Sue Lupton Consulting now concentrates on sophisticated profile-specific data provision and specialist strategic planning to satisfy clients' most precise objectives.
Sue Lupton specialises in luxury businesses as well as mutual support marketing, which takes reciprocation to a new level.
She is always eager to make new contacts and to face new challenges. Please contact her for a consultation (without obligation) if you think she may be able to help.
Almost all Sue's clients come to her through personal recommendation and need a bespoke rather than a mass-produced service. So rates, charges and arrangements are by agreement, depending on the specific nature of a new project, its complexity and the potential which Sue's special skills can help to unlock.
Sue can call both on the many skilled specialists whom she has recruited over the last 15 years and on the core services which Prime Prospects used to provide.
She has unrivalled experience in matching data supplies to specialist needs and in handling data services.
Some examples of this are in the case studies attached.

CASE STUDY no. 1

A prestige publication, re-launching a subsidiary journal about business, wanted to establish it immediately as something that the movers and shakers, the Captains of Industry, would come to regard as necessary reading. The publishers wanted to start a controlled circulation list with immediate access to the right people and immediate appeal to blue ribbon advertisers.

Working with more than seven different suppliers of specialist data, Sue Lupton Consulting brought together more than 30,000 names of the most senior, most powerful (and the most difficult to reach) people in British industry.

The list was tailored for specialist delivery methods, de-duped with extreme precision and care, and resulted in an 85% conversion rate when, after the first issue, the fulfilment house telephoned all the recipients of the controlled circulation magazine to confirm that they wished to go on receiving it.

CASE STUDY no. 2

A retailer specialising in selling some of the most beautiful and expensive cars in the world wanted to make better use of its data base of clients, contacts and customers. With Sue Lupton's help, the retailer was able to offer its wealthy clients special opportunities to attend prestige events and visit beautiful houses, homes and palaces; customer loyalty was re-inforced in this way throughout the seasons and the years between purchases and the retailer emphasized its connections with a splendid life-style. Meanwhile, this initiative also opened up discreet marketing opportunities for special offers of luxury goods and products by a third party and created an unusual mailing list of opulent customers who wanted to know about such purchasing opportunities.

CASE STUDY no. 3

A manufacturer of high quality luggage wanted to launch a new prestige range for online sales, using internet and email connections. The plan was to test specific markets with a view to branching out simultaneously throughout Europe and the Western World. Sue Lupton and her associates brought together a whole gamut of possible methods and ideas, many of which have successfully been adopted for the eventual campaign.

CASE STUDY no. 4

A literary magazine asked Sue Lupton Consulting to bring together the technical facilities and the analytical tools to create an online survey of current and potential new readers and to advise on researching viral and other possible methods for recruiting new subscribers. The online survey was drafted by SLC and it proved highly adaptable and flexible and has been remarkably successful. In its first implementation it yielded nearly 800 new subscribers to the magazine's newsletter as well as the detailed information most sought. The project is on -going and will involve experimental development of unusual advertising, marketing and measurement tools.
